Essentially, the new ‘Special Edition’ or ‘SE’ version of the SA-12 has apparently been available exclusively in Japan for some time now. What is perhaps most special about the new Marantz SA-12SE SACD player is that for Japanese audiophiles, it’s not particularly special at all. ![]()
